The T.L.O.P Prize for Literature serves as evidence of the ability of words to bring people together. Its establishment is based on the belief that literature, being a language that transcends borders and cultures holds potential, in fostering understanding and compassion among nations, societies and differing groups. Literature, at its essence has the power to promote harmony and the T.L.O.P Literature Prize was established with the intention of exemplifying this guiding principle.

Our mission is to bring the world together through the magic of storytelling. We believe that by celebrating the written word, we can inspire individuals and nations to seek common ground, bridge divides, and promote harmony. In a world often beset by discord, our competition stands as a symbol of hope, unity, and creativity.

The T.L.O.P Prize for Literature is unique in its approach. It is a celebration not only of the writer’s craft but also of their commitment to the literary arts. To be eligible, participants must submit a complete book that has been published at least thirty days prior to the deadline. This rule reflects our dedication to recognizing the established and the most recent vibrant voices in the literary world. In a world where bite-sized pieces of writing often dominate, we take a different path. We do not accept mere fragments or snippets; we celebrate the essence of literature—the complete book, a vessel of profound thoughts, vivid stories, and boundless imagination, where words are more than just ink on paper; they are the catalyst for understanding, the spark of peace, and the embodiment of the global literary community.
